Cloud Fundamentals instructs through a hybrid learning approach to help you build an understanding of cloud computing principles, concepts, governance, security and service support. Learn how the cloud connects vital services and data remotely to allow businesses worldwide to achieve digital transformation and increased agility.

This interactive, self-guided course blends knowledge and performance-based training components to help you learn the critical skills needed to perform real-world cloud computing tasks. You’ll be able to access your study materials and performance-based labs on demand—and you’ll earn 5 CPE upon completion.

Certificate Curriculum

IT professionals increasingly need to understand the cloud as it has proven crucial in connecting businesses to critical data and services remotely. With Cloud Fundamentals, you’ll learn how to assess risks, ensure security, implement effective governance of services and providers, and optimize potential in the cloud:

  1. Cloud Computing Concepts (42%): This domain covers the basic principles and concepts of cloud computing, including the different service and deployment models, benefits, and challenges associated with cloud adoption.
  2. Cloud Governance (23%): This section focuses on the frameworks and strategies necessary to ensure effective governance in a cloud environment. Topics include risk management, compliance, and policies to oversee cloud services and providers.
  3. Cloud Service Support (35%): This domain addresses the support mechanisms require for cloud services, encompassing legal agreements (SLAs), performance monitoring, and incident management to maintain optimal cloud operations.

There are no prerequisites. You can register for the Cloud Fundamentals exam at any time. The online, remotely-proctored 2-hour exam blends both knowledge (multiple choice) and performance-based questions set in a virtual lab environment. To pass the exam, you must earn a score of 65% or higher.

Successful students will receive an internationally recognized badge from ISACA.
