Our Cybersecurity Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program is aligned with the competencies defined by the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), ensuring you gain the most relevant and in-demand skills.

Through immersive technical training and hands-on learning in computer labs and virtual environments, and through collaboration with government agencies, private companies, and military experts, you will master the essential aspects of cybersecurity.

You’ll learn to understand and implement cybersecurity requirements, investigate and analyze incidents, protect and defend networks against malicious activities, and identify vulnerabilities through penetration testing and hacking techniques. Additionally, you’ll develop the critical thinking needed to address security issues, create effective security policies, and solve complex problems, all while honing your ability to work effectively in teams to achieve shared goals.

By the end of this comprehensive program, learners will have developed the ability to:

  • Understand and implement Cybersecurity requirements
  • Investigate and analyze Cybersecurity incidents
  • Protective and effectively defend computer networks against malicious activities
  • Identify and correct computer network vulnerabilities through penetration testing and hacking techniques
  • Initiate and undertake critical analysis of security issues to develop and implement security policies and to solve problems.
  • Interactive with others in groups or teams in ways that contribute to effective working relationships and the achievement of goals.

Dr. Scott J. White is an Associate Professor and Director of the Cybersecurity Program and Cyber Academy. He holds a Queen’s Commission and was an Officer with the Canadian Forces Intelligence Command. In addition, following his doctoral studies, Dr. White was an Officer with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service.

In 2010, Dr. White joined MONAD Security Audit Systems as an Associate Consultant. Dr. White has consulted with a variety of law enforcement agencies in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
