Meet the Program Director
Ms. Pitzer has more than 20 years of industry experience in software programming and IT project management in the DMV area, working in the private sector as well as with U.S. government contractors.
Before becoming program director, she taught as an adjunct faculty member in the program for five years at GW’s Virginia Science and Technology Campus in Ashburn, Virginia. Her teaching experience also includes ten years of experience as a full-time faculty member at the Northern Virginia Community College in Sterling, Virginia.
Before teaching, she worked in the DMV area in the field of software development. Her previous employers included Freddie Mac, VeriSign, AT&T, and CyberData Technologies.
