AI focuses on building smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require humans and is drastically increasing in demand as it continues to change the future of virtually every field of technology. With AI Fundamentals, you’ll learn how understanding AI’s risks and potential can fast-track your career.

This interactive, self-guided course blends knowledge and performance-based training components to help you master key AI principles, models, and infrastructure. You’ll be able to access your study materials and performance-based labs on demand—and you’ll earn 5 CPE upon completion.

Certificate Curriculum

Learn how to advise enterprises on IoT use, potential rewards and implications to properly understand the opportunities and risks it brings. The IoT curriculum covers:

  1. AI Concepts (50%): This domain covers the basic characteristics that define AI, including machine learning, robotic process automation, statistical modeling, and regression analysis. It also addresses considerations for adopting AI, data governance roles, and ethical considerations associated with AI implementation.
  2. AI Implementations (50%): This domain focuses on the practical application of AI, including the use of essential software and algorithms to leverage AI’s potential. It emphasizes hands-on skill development through performance-based labs such as Machine Learning Models, Security Implementations of AI, and Robotic Process Automation.

There are no prerequisites. You can register for the AI Fundamentals exam at any time. The online, remotely-proctored 2-hour exam blends both knowledge (multiple choice) and performance-based questions set in a virtual lab environment. To pass the exam, you must earn a score of 65% or higher.

Successful students will receive an internationally recognized badge from ISACA.
