Through engaging modules and interactive experiences, you will deepen your understanding of the nation’s capital and the unique opportunities offered by The George Washington University and The Graduate School of Political Management. This course covers: the history and geography of the District; Washington, D.C.’s role as the nation’s capital; the principles of American government; D.C.’s culture, heritage, and community; things to do in the District; and The George Washington University’s relationship with D.C.
